Jacut is a new character I’m trying to get a grip of. He lives in the same world as Bjarki and Reyr. I’m imagining he and Reyr have met previously, when they were younger and maybe Reyr’s druid circle and Jacut’s mage tower/school had some kind of knowledge exchange. They’ll probably meet up years later for a cute little reunion. I see Jacut as very book smart, and previous experiences have made him a little doubtful of his skills outside of being book smart. He loves cooking food and being a little luxurious.
