A new era

I have been pretty bad at updating this blog lately, haven’t I? Thing is that I haven’t had the time to draw much else than on my comic Shit Spider (go check it out btw, new pages are being posted!) because of life in general and massive loss of energy and motivation.

Another thing that has been taken a lot of my energy the past months has been my search for a new job. As much as I really enjoy working as a front end developer, I felt that working as a consultant wasn’t my cup o tea. I like to have my workspace and not change employers every sixth month. After hearing from an old classmate (back when I studied at the University of Skövde), Iona, that her employer, King.com, was looking for new talent I decided to update my CV and send them a mail. A few interviews later, I got a call saying that they wanted me as their new employee :)

At the moment I’m having a short vacation after my last client as a consultant and I’ll start my first day at king.com on the 21st. Given the nature of my personality, I am a little nervous, but I think it’ll be awesome! I’m looking forward working with a game company (kinda comes to full circle when you think about it – my studies in Skövde was computer game development-related) and a site with lots of traffic! It’ probably gonna be tough, but I’m up for the challenge! Wish me luck..? ;)

On another note, I’ll try to be more active on the blog too! Anything you’d like me to write more about? Should I concentrate on art here, or would you like to see more web-related stuff here too? Or maybe even snippets of my life..?

Speaking of which, you should really add me on twitter or tumblr if you haven’t already! :)

Take care, hopefully I’ll write something with more pics and stuff later on! In the meantime, enjoy the cherry blossom picture I took at Kungsträdgården here in Stockholm :)

Judas Priest

A few weeks ago, me, my brother and my bf went to Hovet to watch Judas Priest, with Hammerfall as the starting act. I really enjoyed it, hadn’t seen either live before. And it felt great to see Judas Priest, since this was said to be their final tour.

Sebbe sleeps through December – Extra Fanart!

During December, we actually recieved some Christmas cards from friends that contained some cute Sebbe fanart! Here, Sebbe himself is posing with each fan art for your viewing pleasure ;)

First up was some fan art by Stef Gaines. Sebbe seems quite interested in it.

Next up is some fan art by Karin Rindevall. I think Sebbe is impressed by the likeliness!

And finally some awesome art by Stina Lövkvist! Sebbe is totally blown away by the awesomeness, I believe ;)

And that’s it! Happy holidays to everyone! :)
